Safety Warning

White Metal Games products are not intended for children 12 or under.  Products may contain small parts or breakable parts which pose a choking hazard.

Warning About Magnets

Some White Metal Games products may contain magnets. Rare Earth magnets are very powerful and could be dangerous if not handled with proper care.

Do not bring products containing magnets within 12 inches of any magnetic based storage devices such as desktop or laptop computers, hard drives, floppy disks, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, or credit cards. Keep away from computer monitors, VCRs and TVs.

If you or someone in your household has a pacemaker, please ask your doctor about possible risks before purchasing. Do not let these magnets snap together with their full force or they may break and quite possibly send small pieces of metal flying in all directions. Do not attempt to machine or drill these magnets – high temperatures during these processes could cause the magnets to ignite releasing toxic fumes. Do not heat the magnets to above 175°F (80°C) as this will cause them to lose all of their magnetic properties. It is advisable to wear protective gloves and goggles when handling these magnets. Large magnets can pinch very hard. Do not allow magnets to come together fast or between your skin as they can draw blood, or possibly even break bones.

Do not swallow the magnets or attached parts. If magnets are swallowed, seek professional medical care at once.  If swallowed, any type of magnet can cause serious injury or death. Keep away from children and pets.

Find out what you can and can’t do with Game Workshop’s Intellectual Property (IP) here.

White Metal Games does not accept commissions based on Game Workshop’s figures or intellectual property. Any conversions produced on our site are one-time, hand-made, unique figures. Furthermore, White Metal Games does not create production runs of these miniatures to sell.

White Metal Games provides a multilateral miniature assembly and painting service on commission. Our services are entirely generic. We do not exclusively paint or assembly Games Workshop miniatures, and our services are in no way official or endorsed by Games Workshop (GW).

We will not accept payments from third parties to produce any materials using GW’s intellectual property, and “using” is very broadly defined.

In order to fully utilize our services, miniatures, paints, and tools must first be purchased through authorized retailers and distributors of the products to be commissioned. As such, we feel that our services do not devalue these products in any way, and in fact encourages their continued commercial success of all things hobby related. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Any mention of Game’s Workshop’s IP on this website is entirely descriptive and not intended to infer that we are in fact manufacturers of any of Games Workshop’s IP.

Although the photographs on this website are the property of White Metal Games, the items pictured are the IP property of the manufacturers and are used without permission. All rights reserved by their respective owners.

Any kits, bits, or adapters we offer are intended to be used multilaterally and are entirely generic.

Tournament Disclaimer

For you tournament players out there, we realize that custom built models are sometimes described as ‘not tournament friendly’ or ‘illegal’, or even ‘not playable’. This is often due to issues such as size/scale, or the parts used for the construction of these models.  And to those players we say this:

“Tournaments are an artificial environment, laying down restrictions and criteria to provide a competitive environment. Using your imagination and doing what you want with your toy soldiers is your choice, not the game developers. We’d like to see more in official publications such as White Dwarf, and on the GW website, reminding players that they are perfectly entitled to bend the rules as they see fit, so long as their opponents agree to them.” – Gav Thorpe

Even as the world edges towards a more and more competitive play style, where winning is put before having fun, we at WMG will remain stoic and hold to our mantra: It’s a game. Play it any way you like, with any pieces you like. Just have fun doing it.  Remember, it’s only a game.
